Honest equipment hours, without bloated fleet software.

DirtFleet gives construction crews a fast daily habit for logging hours and meter readings, queues entries when signal drops, and turns those readings into PM alerts, repair flags, and a fleet view managers can trust.

PM honest

Stops drifting on day one

The problem is not data. It's getting crews to log it every day.

Clipboards get skipped. End-of-month estimates drift. PM slips because the hours were wrong in the first place. DirtFleet is built to make daily logging fast enough that operators actually do it.

Log hours. Flag issues. Keep PM honest.

Pick the asset

One list: machines, attachments, trucks—plate, unit number, or photo.

Log hours or meter

Type the reading, or snap a photo of the dash and confirm. Optional flag if something's off.

Sync when you're back

Hours drafts queue on the device when signal drops; uploads once you're online (cached reads via the installed app).

  • Operators log hours in a few taps or snap a photo of the meter.
  • Entries queue on device when signal drops and sync later.
  • Mechanics see flags and PM due items in one queue.
  • Managers get utilization, hours, and exceptions without rolling out a full TMS.
  • Tool tracking included: QR/NFC checkout, low-stock alerts, PM on engine-powered tools. See the module →
Add asset (3-click demo)

Built for the 10–50 asset fleet.

Too small for enterprise telematics overhead, too operationally serious for guesswork. DirtFleet fits contractors and mixed fleets that need better maintenance discipline without a months-long rollout.

Best for

  • 10–50 asset construction & mixed fleets
  • Contractors with daily on-asset crews
  • Shops that need PM discipline without a TMS rollout
  • Operations that go offline at sites/yards

Not for

  • Fleets shopping first for FMCSA-certified ELD/HOS
  • Enterprises needing a full dispatch/TMS
  • Single-machine operations (below the 5-item minimum)
  • Pure long-haul trucking-only fleets

Onsite check-in — same numbers, pocket-sized

Illustrations are product-accurate UI mocks — wire up a real fleet and the same layouts power your crews. Start with a 30-day trial.

From $99/mo. Never more than $299.

$5 per asset after your first 5, tools in blocks of 50, and a hard ceiling on the whole invoice under fair use. Unlimited users, always free — which keeps pricing easy to explain to crews and finance alike.

DirtFleet Hours

Try free for 30 days — no credit card. Between ultra-cheap trackers and enterprise bloat, priced so crews adopt it and finance can budget it without a spreadsheet every quarter.

Starts at

$99/ month

includes 5 assets + 50 tools

Never more than

$299/ month

$990–$2,990/yr on annual prepay

  • Unlimited users, always free — every operator, mechanic, and foreman, at every tier. No per-seat tax.
  • Bounded both ends: $5/asset past your first 5, $19 per 50 tools past your first 50 — and a hard ceiling on the whole invoice. Attachments, kit contents, and consumables never meter.
  • Named integrations — live CSV / PDF exports today; QuickBooks Online, WEX, Geotab, and Samsara on the honest roadmap (see board). Premium APIs available as a +$29/mo org-wide add-on if you need them.
  • Hardware (optional diagnostic tracker, target Mid-2027): one-time buy or lease when SKUs publish — not required to use DirtFleet Hours.

Fair use policy

DirtFleet is priced to be simple and predictable for the vast majority of fleets. Standard plans include unlimited user accounts at every size, and the whole invoice is capped at $299/month no matter how many assets and tools you track, under a fair use policy designed to ensure a great experience for everyone.

For organizations with more than 1,500 active assets or more than 200 active user accounts, we may require a custom plan to provide appropriate performance, support, and onboarding. If your fleet is above these thresholds, please contact us and we'll work with you on a tailored solution.

Illustrative sizing

  • Small crew — 10 assets, 40 tools$99/mo minimum
  • Typical mixed fleet — 25 assets, 60 tools$119/mo
  • Top of the sweet spot — 50 assets, 150 tools$263/mo
  • Larger fleet — capped, however much you add$299/mo

List rates shown; actual invoice follows your cadence and any grandfathered beta agreement.

DirtFleet is maintenance documentation, PM, and asset tracking — pricing here does not buy an FMCSA-certified ELD or interstate HOS product. Regulatory questions belong with FMCSA guidance or a retained compliance professional.

Named integrations — CSV exports today; QuickBooks, WEX, Geotab, and Samsara called out honestly on the roadmap. Estimate your bill.

Built for yards & job sites • Offline-friendly queues + cache • Small fleets welcome • No per-seat tax on drivers

Optional hardware · Target Mid-2027

A diagnostic-port tracker that talks to the same app crews already use.

Software-only fleets keep working unchanged. If you want telemetry later, an optional tracker pipes engine hours and fault codes into the same dashboard — no separate portal, no second login.

  • J1939 (yellow iron) or OBD-II (light-duty) auto-capture.
  • Supports up to three optional cameras for incident review.
  • Local WiFi mesh buffers telemetry when cell drops.
  • GPS, secure element, signed firmware; SAE J1455 spec.

Hardware is optional and ships on its own timeline — not required to run hours logging and PM queues.
