One screen. Every asset. Live.

Fleet list ranked by status: red flags up top, then yellow, then current hours and utilization. Tap any row for the full asset history.

Fleet analytics

Hours, spend, utilization — with optional AI highlights.

Roll up engine hours and odometer distance by 24 hours, seven days, or 30 days. Compare shop spend (repair logs with a cost) to engine-hour production, see logging utilization across the fleet, and estimate fuel use when you set a simple burn rate on each hour-meter asset. One click runs an AI review on the same summary — useful for catching trends, not for replacing your accountant.

  • Preset windows: 24h, 7d, 30d with prior-period trend hints
  • Repair $ / engine hour from real cost entries — not guessed
  • Optional fuel estimate — your gallons (or liters) per engine hour × logged hours
  • Gemini insight highlights: patterns that are easy to miss day-to-day

Real-time alerts

You hear about it the same shift it happened.

Red flag pushed by a driver in the field? Your phone goes off, with the asset, the photo, the note, and who flagged it. Triage from the cab of your own truck.

  • Push notifications on red (urgent) flags
  • Optional SMS fallback if push isn't delivered in 60s
  • Auto-flag notifications when assets hit hour-based PM
  • Quiet hours configurable per manager

Reminder copy (samples)

Defaults: end-of-day at 5 PM or your shift end; optional start-of-shift prompt. Copy stays short — operators decide in a glance.

Tool tracking — utilization side

The same dashboard, but for everything else the crew uses.

Tool checkout utilization, low-stock alerts on consumables, PM overdue on power tools, fleet-wide tool book value — all alongside the fleet KPIs you already watch. Find the compressor running at 80% in-use (and the three sitting in the yard). Catch the welding rods running out before the foreman calls you. Same flat subscription.

  • Checkout utilization report per tool (date-range filterable)
  • Low-stock dashboard card for consumables
  • PM-overdue dashboard card for power tools & generators
  • Fleet tool book value with straight-line depreciation
  • Warranty-expiring dashboard card (next 60 days) — review renewals before they auto-charge

The seat math

Flat fleet subscription, not per-user.

Standard plans price the organization — drivers, mechanics, and managers included under fair use. Very large fleets may move to a tailored plan for support and performance.

Month-to-month · public list

$119 / mo

A 25-asset fleet with 60 tools, at public list. Unlimited drivers + mechanics + managers, free.

vs. enterprise TMS at $1,200–3,000/mo + 8–12 weeks of rollout

100-truck fleet · public list rates

$299 / mo

The cap — the most any fleet pays, at 100 trucks or 1,000. Annual prepay: $2,990/yr (10 months charged for 12).

Hardware tracker · Target Mid-2027

Telemetry that doesn't require an enterprise rollout.

Software-only fleets stay on the daily habit — drivers log, mechanics fix, you watch. Beta cohorts who want telemetry get an opt-in tracker that plugs into the diagnostic port and talks to the same dashboard you already use. Engine hours sync without anyone tapping anything; the device supports up to three optional cameras for incident capture; a local WiFi mode keeps things going in cellular dead zones.

  • Engine hours stream in automatically — driver self-reporting becomes optional, not required.
  • Supports up to 3 optional cameras (e.g. forward, left mirror, right mirror) for incident review and dispute resolution.
  • Same dashboard, same flag flow — no parallel system to learn.
  • List software pricing is published on dirtfleet.app/pricing; hardware stays optional.
  • Hardware stays opt-in: software-only fleets keep working unchanged.

Permissions

What fleet managers control.

The full picture, with appropriate authority. Org admin + billing is a separate flag — typically the same person at small fleets, but split as you grow.

You can

  • View the entire fleet, all flags, all logs
  • Add and remove assets
  • Configure hour-based PM intervals
  • Export fleet-wide reports (CSV / PDF)
  • Receive push and SMS alerts on red flags
  • Log hours and flag (same as drivers)

Org-admin authority (separate flag)

  • +Invite / remove members
  • +Change someone else's role
  • +Manage billing and subscription
  • +Transfer ownership / delete the org

The first user from your fleet (signup) is automatically org admin. Reassign anytime.

FAQ

Manager questions

Will the field crew actually use it?

The operator flow is intentionally narrow: find the unit, enter the meter, and save. Use the trial with your own crew to measure completion before committing.

How fast can I roll it out?

Same day in most fleets. Import existing assets via CSV, send drivers the install link — we help with onboarding when you want a hand.

What do I see when something breaks?

Push notification on red flags within seconds. Dashboard shows the asset, the photo, the note, and the driver. You triage from your phone or hand off to the mechanic queue.

What's the seat math?

There isn't any. Unlimited drivers, mechanics, and managers on standard plans under fair use. The subscription is priced per organization, not per seat.

What analytics do fleet managers get?

A dedicated analytics view rolls up meter deltas by 24h / 7 / 30 days (engine hours and odometer separately), logging utilization, repair spend where costs were entered, and cost per engine hour. Optional fuel rollups use a burn rate you set per hour-meter asset — it's an estimate, not a fuel card integration. Claude-powered 'insight highlights' read the same summary numbers to spot trends; it's an assistant, not accounting advice.
